Intimate Gujrati Wedding in Bay Area, California.

It was an honor to document such a serene and intimate affair hosted by two wholesome families in hub of Bay Area, CA. Bharvee and Dev met in Ohio through their friends and siblings. It took them little less than a year to realize they were meant to be together and all they wanted was to be surrounded by their family and friends to celebrate their love for each other. I had previously got a chance to document Bharvee’s sister’s wedding back in June 2021 which was a classic affair in itself.

For this wedding, Bharvee decided to go with palettes of pinks, ivories and reds with backdrop of her parent’s home backyard where she grew up with her sister Avanti. On the first day, they did Grah Shanti followed by a very fun and joyous social night instead of traditional Garba which was filled with laughter and games and dances with their friends. Their couple and family portraits were done in Shinn Historical Park and Arboretum in Fremont, CA.

On the wedding day, Bharvee wanted to get her first look and portraits done at Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge facing Coyote Hills in Newark, CA which was filled with beautiful landscapes.
