Nikkah at Badshahi Mosque in Lahore.

Rimsha has known Asad years before they decided to get married. They have been pretty great friends and been involved in each other’s life for quite sometime but it took them a trip to mountains alongside their friends to realize the true nature of their feelings for one another. They are amazing people with kind and generous hearts and it was nothing short of joy to be able to do their couple portraits at Badshahi mosque.

Since Badshahi mosque has banned photographers from doing photos inside the mosque in lieu of religious respect, we did this shoot while walking outside the mosque to use the beautiful architecture only as a backdrop. My team back in Lahore did an amazing job giving this shoot a different vibe as compared to the much ubiquitous badshahi mosque photoshoots.

Rimsha chose to wear her mother’s wedding dupatta to compliment her dress and we think it looked marvelous!
