Maternity Photoshoot at Bernal Ranch San Jose | Bay Area Maternity Photoshoot

It was such a gorgeous day at Bernal Historic Ranch for Richa and Sachneel’s maternity session. The picturesque, farmland vibe was the perfect backdrop to capture the new journey they are soon embarking upon. Richa wanted to wear deep red for her maternity photoshoot and was looking for something that compliments her personality and vision for the shoot. Bernal Historic ranch is one of the most photographed locations in San Jose with some beautiful spots uphill if you are one to walk! 

We started our shoot around the time the sun was about to set but we had about an hour or so before it had to disappear. So it was not as such golden hour but the dry bushes on the ranch brought out the gold hues which worked perfectly for the vibe we were going for. Together we talked about how they met, about Richa’s pregnancy cravings and their plans for the future with their expected son. We talked about parenting, post-partum blues and about our mutual love for photography amidst smiles, laughs and posing. It was such a wholesome experience.
